Oils, acrylics and watercolor are all medias that I use depending on the subject, purpose and scale. Non-objective paintings are often in a larger scale and based on a detail from nature or my imagination. The discipline, sculpture is what I have been known for although art education courses taught at university level include years of teaching drawing and painting as well as sculpture. My public sculptures, both figurative and abstract, are primarily in stone using direct carving methods. Welded steel and bronze castings are also part of my portfolio experience.
